What are Meta tags?

This is a title and description of a page.  Generally, these are contained in the top of an HTML document but won’t show up in a page’s content.  Most website builders will provide you with an area for creating a title and description for you page when you create it.  If you are using WordPress, this is generally at the bottom of the page under title or “Enter Your Focus Keyword”.  These descriptions will provide snippets to search engines for a summary about what your post pertains to.  If you Google something, there’s always a description below the link to a website; this is the description created for the page.
